Rapid City, South Dakota
A storm approached the Rapid City area from the west just prior
to sunset. As the sun set, the storm bowed out and intensified
producing strong winds, intense lightning and brief but heavy rain. The
light from the setting sun produced a surreal gold hue that lasted for over 1/2
hour.
